چکیده

Introduction: This study aimed to evaluate the central ability and root canal transportation of two types rotary files in curved molar canals using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) mesiodistal (MD) buccolingual (BL) directions.Method Material: A total 40 mesiobuccal mandibular first molars with an angle 25-35 degrees radius curvature 5 millimeters were randomly divided into groups 20 each. Group was prepared Pro Taper Gold (PTG), B V (VTG). Pre- post-instrument CBCT scans recorded. Images reconstructed, then cross-sections detected corresponding distances 3, 6, 9 mm from anatomic apex Gambill’s method. Statistical analysis performed T-test repeated measure ANOVA. P-value set at 0.05.Results: There a significant difference centering ratio all three levels 3-, 6-, 9- mm, mesiodistally. PTG has higher 6 sections more 3 mm. In BL direction, no statistically observed among VTG groups. The both became coronal part. last most reported level level, respectively. Conclusion: Both instruments efficiently cleaned shaped canals. ProTaper had better ability, while showed less transportation.
